About Dr. Albert Sultan, Psy. D.
A New Jersey native from Monmouth County, Dr. Albert Sultan is a pediatric and adult neuropsychologist that treats individuals and families better understand how they think, learn, and grow.
Albert’s academic path began at Rutgers University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Political Science. He went on to complete a master’s degree in School Psychology at Brooklyn College before returning to Rutgers—this time to the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology—to earn his doctoral degree (Psy.D.) in Psychology. Along the way, he gained hands-on evaluation experience with the Rutgers Psychological Clinic Assessment Team and completed his pre-doctoral internship at the Stevens University Counseling Center, where he provided individual psychotherapy to students navigating anxiety, depression, disordered eating, PTSD, and adjustment challenges, while also leading outreach programs focused on mental health and social-emotional learning.
In May 2018, Albert joined New Jersey Brain Care as a post-doctoral fellow, receiving specialized training in neuropsychological evaluation across the lifespan. Today, his clinical focus centers on neuropsychological assessment in children and neurodevelopmental conditions, including ADHD, learning disabilities, and language disorders.
Outside the office, Albert is a devoted family man who stays active through exercise and sports, is rarely without a good book, and cheers passionately for the Yankees, Knicks, and Giants.
